I'm a saints fan, from everything thats been said and from our own ITK, seems like Koeman is on his way to you guys. I'm sad to see him go, he did us a very good turn, and really helped the club in a hard time for us.

Disappointed to see him go, but I have faith that we will find a good manager to succeed him, and that our club is in safe hands. Slightly suprised to see him go to you guys, your definitely the bigger club, but after two years of hard work with us and another crack at Europa this season, it's slightly surprising he would give that up, for rebuilding a struggling team (even with the promise of huge investment.)

A question to you Everton fans, with City, United, Wet Spam, Chelski and you lot all planning on big overhauls of your squads and spending X hundred million, do you think A) there are enough good players out there, for all these big clubs? B) By saying you have 150 million to spend aren't you opening yourselves up to overpaying massively on players, as clubs know you have cash to burn?
Good points about overpaying and dearth of good players available.
I can remember how some unscrupulous pub landlords/tennants would raise the price of drinks for foreign sailors in town with money burning a hole in their pockets (You've probably seen the same yourself down there).
Most clubs will behave the same way with the clubs you mentioned, ourselves included. This summer, we'll all be like sailors on shore leave Staggering round the town desperate to spend ous hard earned money on over priced watered down beer and disease ridden trollops.

What, you are expecting him to buy players when the club doesn't even have a manager? That would make good sense! In the Prem at the moment, I can think of four players signed (by the RS, Leicester, Arsenal and City) and beyond that no one else.
Before you know it we'll be loaning Stracqualursi and Drenthe on deadline day again. He's trying to buy time by prolonging the search for the manager, he'll be saying we didn't have time to sign anyone by September the horrible Iranian con artist.

I think he may be able to do a good job, I'm just really gutted it's not Emery

But then I saw his Southampton side get torn to bits this season at times and they looked like dreadful, like they were out of their depth.

Just very dubious atm @stevietoffee
fair comment mate, think we have to wait and see who he brings in to start the re build

Suspect you all know this already but it seems like we are good to go. No further obstacles in the main piece of business (Koeman) - if that's old news, apologies as I may be behind the news flow as have been engaged in other things most of the day.

Top stuff esk, cheers for the info throughout.

One day Unai, one day

Appreciate everything you've done so far Esk, actual info has been great
