Next 5 games

We absolutely need to be flying in all of our home games at least. As generally shocking as we have been this season, our home form is surprisingly decent and Allardyce will know this.

Doesn't matter how close we are to 7th place, it matters how close we are to the drop zone.

2nd bottom are on 24 points, we are on 31 points, that's a bit too close for comfort for my liking.

All we need is 9 points, NEA where that comes from. Not a chance we are going, too many teams below us. Say goodbye to Allardyce in the summer and never mention his name again, one of the most embarrassing moments in our recent history.
Top 4 next season...

It seems extremely unlikely that they won't reach 40 points now.

The concern, from a mid/long-term perspective, is that the team will labour through these winnable games without looking any better than their opponents. The likes of Watford, Palace, Bournemouth and Burnley appear to be at very much the same level as Everton after just a couple of seasons in the league.

Teams like that are only ever a bad window or two away from becoming genuine relegation candidates. Walsh has already overseen a drop in player quality from upper to lower mid-table, and I fear that another summer could be enough to finish the job.

I think the way this season is going survival could be 35 or you could go down on 40 as there seems to be no logic to results all the teams are capable of beating each other. Personally I think we'll get 48 points and then we need to punt the 2 Sams right out the door. Next 5 games I see us getting 10 points but if Allardyce keeps doing what he's doing it could end up being only 2 points. It's like he wants to drag survival out as long as possible instead of just getting the job done.

Should get at least 7.

Yestetday i think Sam and the players took at look at that list there and said forget this one, those are were the points can come from. 10 days to prepare for Leicester and Thursfay morning they started to prepare for Palace.
This is what managers like Sam and Pulis do, target games, unlike the likes of Martinez and Silva they know who to pick the games, no Coleman Rooney or Ciggy yestetday because we needed to save them in his opinion

That's an unacceptable attitude from an Everton manager. Something that only a complete failure does.

Palace H

Watford A

Burnley A

Brighton H

Stoke A

Lots of winnable games in there, We have a decent record against the teams below us and seem to do well against them at home

Will we pick up the 9 points we need to get to 40 in these 5 games or are we going to make a hash of it and drag this shambles on into the final part of the season

It’s not a matter of which of those games we can get points from for me....it’s about is he Allardyce appropriate for Everton Football Club.

We’ll do enough in those games and enough over the remainder of the season.

But we shouldn’t be going into a winnable game against Palace on the back of another drubbing. It’s defeats like yesterday that knock everyone completely back.

We played well against Leicester so we know there is at least something in this group of players. Not a lot, but something.

They have absolutely no mental fortitude though. Lost heads completely yesterday and panicked for a brief period against Leicester.

The whole plan is not to concede and we have no answer when we do.
