News of Ex Players

….when did he say that, Joey, not seen that quote? Certainly did well at Villa.
:D just a little WUM Eggs - I feel Garner struggles when Gana plays along side him - fair dos we played then with a two man midfield as DH was far too high up the field - sorry but that last game win lose or draw is the best midfield trio I have watched in a very long time for the blues the other on was Carsley, Cahill, & Arteta - we need 3 in there with one winger & the other winger supporting the CF in a no 10 role .....

Whilst you are doing this analysis, would you say the early McGinn sub was very helpful for us?

He's past it & DM tried to sign him FGS we need a bit of youth in our side - oldest in the prem & slowest .... those two young midfielders changed that v Villa - full of energy & pace ....
I believe some gamesmanship experience and knowing when to leave a foot in are handy assets to have. He's only 31 and is and has been instrumental in Emery's side. I think they lost a bit of direction in the middle with his going off.

Glad we never signed him past his best ...been a very good midfielder in past though...
