You’d go to the ouseburn valley now. Good bars beers and food. Great beer gardens. Nice mix of mad bars. Few more wanky places these days but still the best part of the city by a mile.

We would break him in about 3 months. He's not the worst manager in the league or anything, but he just has too soft a personality. Would go similarly to Marco Silva I think.

I highly doubt it tbh, he wants even more control over things than Moyes does, him and Kinnear would be at each others throats constantly. We all know Moyes can be an awkward customer at times but Howe takes that to another level mate.

I've never been to Newcastle, what's it actually like ?

Been to Middlesbrough and Sunderland for work-related things a few years back and both were bleak af.

It’s nice from an architectural perspective

Quite fancy in some ways with plenty of eateries etc

Nice City, the folks who inhabit it are just a bit feral on occasion

Yeah, absolutely tonnes going on really. New buildings popping up all the time now. As this is a football forum, I'd say that it's probably underrated as an away trip these days. Too many people stay in newcastle, when Sunderland has so many good restaurants, pubs and the coastline. And all walkable in the centre too.

My mum doesn’t really care about football but she came with me to Sunderland away over a decade ago now and totally fell in love with the place

I really enjoy going there, especially the coast
