James will also be out until Utd at the earliest or potentially until the international break.

Still only ourselves to blame - Richarlison and Digne on the pitch we would be a lot better - both have massively let us down and I cant see us getting a win in the next two games tbh.

I think the appeal will go through and Digne back.

Not happy with Mina for the past 3 games so I'd like Godfrey to start CB however Carlo sees him as first choice so that fine with plus no Kenny or Coleman so right back needs filling but I'd go Davies on the right before Godfrey.

Davies will provide more of a constant width than Godfrey plus he is a better passer. I know it's unusual but I have felt this position could be excellent for Davies and I'd like to see it given a try.

Iwobi and Sigurdsson just NO. Sigurdsson was CAPTAIN yesterday as well which was worse. They have been handed lifeline after lifeline and they can't do the simple right.

Pickford to start tho he was shocking on both goals yesterday and he tends to brainfart again the Toon but no fans he should keep his head.

At last some sanity. JJK should play if fit now. Godfrey might get another shot but needs one of Allan or Doucs to cover but they keep getting dragged away

I've said before we have a starting XI that can give any team a game. Lose one player and it's a bit uphill, lose three and it's curtains against the better teams and squeaky bum time against the rest. That'll mean we will struggle big time against Newcastle. I think we're heading back to the form after the restart.

To be fair - most teams would only have two specialist right backs. Typically both of ours are injured!
