Under normal circumstances I'd agree, but this was selected "outside of the usual tv selection cycle". I'd be amazed if Everton didn't receive some kind of 'sweetener' for this.

Monday night football should be scrapped and only for bank holidays.

The fans in Germany are rebelling and organising protests about the prospect of Monday Night Football following the deal between Das Bundesliga and Sky Germany.

I quite like the football on Monday nights.

I love going to Goodison when we have one.....though I sympathise with people who have to travel long distances, both in support of the home team and as away fans.

But this business of changing at such short notice just sucks big time and should not be allowed.

Lots of people posting on twitter about losing dough on this game flights trains hotels etc . 10 lads from Tenerife, Loads from Ireland , one from Iceland, one from the states . Then loads from around the uk who’ve lost dough on train tickets .

Not for those who travel to Liverpool for the weekend. You need 2 days off work for a Monday game.

I despise Monday night football. Midweek should only be for additional games. The idea of moving a game from a weekend to a week night is moronic. Saturday at 8pm needs to replace the MNF slot as soon as possible. Not regard for supporters.
