Was on the train on Saturday and there was a group of them on their way to Newcastle.

They all agreed they were going to beat Brighton comfortably and charge up the table and be safe by Xmas.

Though one cautious chap did concede that 'Europe has probably gone' this year.

Yep, I see that, once again, the RS had those tough away games out the way before the other big sides are in their stride (Spurs, Chelsea away, also City home) - just like last season (Arsenal, Spurs, City away IIRC).... meaning that they have a clear run of winnable away games. I think that asking a team to play 4-5 top sides in a 5-6 game stretch stinks. The fixture computer should be able to avoid these things. An average team can go from midtable to bottom three with 1 point from 6 games (which, let's be honest, is going to happen when they have say - Liverpool, City, Arsenal away and United, Spurs home in a 6 match stretch).

they've had home games against brighton and leicester whilst also playing cardiff though. so they've had chances to get a win or two.

And to be fair rightly so. I can get my head round going to the game if you maybe live nearby and have nothing better to do, but why on earth would you go and wear your teams top. Very odd behaviour.
