I see Newcastle fans were asking Brighton fans to help protest against Ashley. I would love us to turn them over when we play them most deluded fanbase in the country by far.

Would be even funnier if they eventually get what they want and the new owners end up another venkys.

I've said it before but I'll say it again, with a huge smile on my face....
The deluded Geordie fanbase, the incompetent Mike Ashley and the overrated Benitez all thoroughly deserve each other. If there was no Leeds United, they'd be the most hated team in the north east by some considerable distance.
Sunderland versus Newcastle should make for some very entertaining viewing in next season's Championship.

If there is any club in the Premiership that understands what its like having a genuinely catastrophic owner then its Brighton - in fact if there is any club that shows solidarity with fans of other clubs (well not Palace) who have also had catastrophic owners then its also Brighton (they went out of their way to help Wrexham (on the first occasion they had properly scumbag owners) and are still fondly remembered there).
