Kyle: As Newcastle fans we don't ask to compete with the top 6. We know we won't with this owner in charge. But Fulham, West Ham, Leicester, Everton, Wolves and even Cardiff spent more than Newcastle. It's an absolute disgrace.


ermm, what is kyle here trying to say? That they're bigger than us and should be spending more? i don't understand. We have a billionaire owner who's splashed the cash for a hwile, of course we were going tp spend more than them.

As far as the Newcastle's Carabao Cup exit goes manager Rafael Benitez offered a fairly upbeat assessment. (Well I suppose new summer signing Solamon Rondon scored at least - and it was a great strike. Seriously.)
He said: "I don't agree that Forest were the better team and I'm not concerned by how we played.
I'm really pleased with the players that were on the pitch because they were trying their best.
"We are disappointed that we lost the game - and even more was the way we lost, we conceded early goal, they were not creating clear chances. We didn't have clear chances either."




wow, really Rafael? Thye got annhiliated in every aspect of that game, 3-1 flattered them.

They forget that their record transfer was a crocked former Kopite with a thing for horse racing who cost less than a third of our record transfer. Would like to see them go down again.

The only reason he'll ever sell Newcastle will be if there's a reasonable chance for him to buy Rangers, in which case he'll drop the Magpies like a bad habit because Rangers are a much bigger club

A Newcastle fan was on TalkSport last night saying Newcastle should sack Rafael and bring in Silva, which caused both Cundy and Goldstein to openly mock him

Cundy actually said we were enormous in comparison to Newcastle

Not often you hear pundits actually say we might be a bigger club than someone

Me and my daughter were laughing our heads off at this guy on the drive home from the match. For a second we actually thought it might be a mackem on the wind up but came round to the conclusion that he was genuine but completely off his rocker.

Miserable Newcastle supporting work colleague even more so this morning after actually going to the game. Not a happy bunch.

Scruffy,gravy stained,shoe waving,horse punching bellends,I hope Ashley takes them lower than Sunderland,they adore Rafael,if they win hes a genius,if they lose its the owners fault,FSW has got it made there he can do no wrong in the eyes of the fans who seem to think because he managed some elite teams that it puts the Skunks in the same bracket
I doubt there many in St James park who were alive the last time they won a trophy,but they are a massive club,deluded horse abusing meffs now shout at shops to show the world the jawdee nashun are the bestest fans ever

Same here with the lad, to say the presenters were incredulous by him would be an understatement, as he wondered further in his delusions as to why they did not go for Silva in the summer...

They are the biggest club in number, in the North East, apparenlty! It’s laughable they even compare themselves nationall, to us, let alone Utd etc. I believe most blues realise we have some catching up, but this Newcastle lot are truly deluded lot, I here so many times, we are the big club...
