Just wondering what the general consensus is about a] moving to a new ground and b] sharing with the red s***e. See poll.

BTW, the poll is meant to be whether you're open to the idea of moving.

share if equal, which it wouldnt be..and they dont want it so dont want to have to pander to them

Stay and redevelop (unlikely) but it would keep the tradition and history there. I would hate to see Goodison getting knocked down.

Everytime I drive to goodison I drive past that massive white disused factory thing (can't remember the road, but its near a halfords and a maccies etc) and I think, why the **** can't we just build there? Its big enough for a stadium and has just been sitting there for years.

My other thought was that it would be amazing for an illegal rave.

What about Walton Hall Park? It's close. Doesn't seem to be a hugely important piece of grass is it? Anyone live near there? Seems ideal. Expect for the part about us not having any money to build one. Could the LCC give us that, and we'd give us the existing Goodison site to expand Stanley Park or build some sporting/recreational facilities for the kids in Walton on the GP site? Seems like a win/win.

The existing goodison site ain't worth out, though.

Walton hall park is like Mecca. You cannot touch that land for it is sacred.

I don't think building on Walton Park would go down well. In Stanley Park, the vast majority of the stadium would've been on Tarmac/car park land. Although a replacement for Vernon Sangster is yet to materialise.

So Stanley Park is a better option eh? I would have thought the other way around, but there you go.
