New Manager v New Players

I think sacking him mid season would be a waste of time. Realistically this season has had too many disappointing results that have crippled our chances of Europe (West Ham, Burnley, Leeds to name a few) but we aren’t going to be in any relegation trouble and likely will be somewhere between 14th and 9th

I suspect unless things pick up massively that TFG will replace him in the summer and give a new manager a full pre season

Moyes has done alright since he came back tbf. Definitely not for the future though is he. It is all a bit predictable. I am hoping that TFG have a plan which includes a new Manager but lets be honest, it is also going to take quite a few windows to build something better and more sustainable. We are practically on our ass every time we are missing a few players. There is a serious lack of quality in the starting 11 and no depth whatsoever.

Bit bored of it all tbh. Hard to be patient after the last few excruciating years.

I think it depends on how as an individual you see Everton.
Moyes gets you mid table, he even tried to get United there… but how long do you want mid table relief versus success?
His trophy count considering the years he’s been managing is not the best.
And the list of clubs who have won something since he first started with us is long.

40 years is a long time to be settled with Mid table security.

How come clubs like Brentford, Brighton, Sunderland and Palace (amongst others) can find good young talent available cheaply, which they bring through until someone makes them an offer too large for them to turn down, and we can’t?

Perhaps we should try doing that rather than throwing away hundreds of millions on players who aren’t good enough and we can’t get rid of?

I can absolutely understand this by the way.

He's predictable because he's managing us in a way we've seen before.

I think if he gets proper backing we'll see a different Moyes.

He’s just been backed with £100m plus Jack Grealish & doesn’t play some of the players he’s bought & there has been no improvement in results over half a season. Giving him more money is the last thing we should be doing.

Moyes has earned the right to see us through to the end of the season, by virtue that hes been steady.

I find the football dour. Yes, we have players like Mykolenko, who are not good enough for this level, but we also have some cracking talent such as Ndiaye, and i just find him too cautious (as it was first time around with cracking players).

My hope for TFG (and ive said it in the past) is that theyre scouring for the next manager now, and not in May.

This isn't my opinion based on Burnley, but the entire season. We just wont make the appropriate strides forward with him in change and as thr gulf grows due to Profit/Ratio i dont want to be left behind.

Some big calls for TFG incoming, itll be their first big on the pitch decision for me.
