Because he has steadied the mess of a team and club that Moshiri left behind.
Slow but sure progress is the key, rushing and signing loads of players all at once never works.
I would let him run out his contract, bring in some new players in the windows he has left and then bring in someone younger and progressive.

For the last 20 years, we’ve had bad owners which hasn’t given us a chance to compete. Now we have the new stadium and new owners so it’s tough but we have to be patient for a couple more years at least to let them try and build something that can get to a higher level, we’re not there yet.

….,and nothing changes…..how about, taking a risk, how about aiming for the best you can be…..come on man dream of better…..
 

When you are without your 5 best outfield players this can happen. It's crap, that team should be able to do better, however they've proven over many years and different managers they can't. With a full team, Garner goes to RB, we are then a LB and a proven striker away from having a very good side. Then we can start judging.

What rumours are these Joey, that over Christmas he had a night out with a mate, then afterwards he picked up some kind of illness, like half teh country normally does over the festive period ?

I`ve no idea where you`re reading stuff, but if you want proper info may I suggest Africa Foot or Roger Azul !
