I think it has more to do with image. When you are trying to establish yourself as one of the top clubs, main priorities are obviously on the pitch (winning games) but image goes a long way if you want to be taken seriously. IF that is our kit lol Jeebus it looks more like a Tranmere away kit rather than someone trying push into top 4/6
