Should have clarified, I meant maybe that leaked pic is a training top, and for our actual kit they will just be sleeve sponsors...

it's not very exciting and certainly looks like a training top but don't think its the disaster some are suggesting. It's plain and blue... with no stupid embellishments and they haven't run with the tacky blue circle 'S' part of the sponsors logo.

I agree, there will always be something for us to moan about. It could be worse as said above, they could have left that rubbish pixelated orb attached to the logo. Sport Pesa aren't to blame as what they've let them use looks better than Chang.

If that shirt is the real thing it's certainly better than the last two Umbro offerings.

You know what? Having looked at the leaked image and being fine with it (if not a tad uninspired) I'm now pretty convinced that it's actually more than likely a training top anyway..

• The difference in the shade of blue from the Tom Davies image is quite stark. The video may have been slightly desaturated (which would be weird like considering that it's to showcase a new kit design) but even still the new shirt clearly looks paler/more 'washed out' than the leaked photo.
• The trim at the back of the Tom Davies image just doesn't seem to fit with the cut of the leaked top, and there's no evidence of any discernable trim present on the top of the shoulders.
• The shoulder trims themselves (with the Umbro motif) are akin to what we've seen on Umbro training gear before, including this season.
• There's no reason to suggest that the new sponsor can't be on the training gear as well. We could still have Chang on the arms couldn't we?
• Overall the leaked top is just too bland/not 'iconic' looking enough. Given our relationship with Umbro I'd expect nothing but a fully bespoke, smart looking top particularly if it's going to adorned with that Dixie Dean motif.

I have seen the rumoured leak of the kit, to be honest its a joke. Very plain sportpesa name in white across the stomach, looks like a training kit.

Remember I was excited for a nike kit, only for us to change our badge to the Merseyside blue one from Pro Evo lol
