I'm liking it. Don't mind the contrasting underarm blue, just takes a little getting used to it. Really glad they didn't go down the Nike Man City route with completely contrasting arms.

We're going to look good in that kit parading the FA Cup about next Season

You know what? Having looked at the leaked image and being fine with it (if not a tad uninspired) I'm now pretty convinced that it's actually more than likely a training top anyway..

• The difference in the shade of blue from the Tom Davies image is quite stark. The video may have been slightly desaturated (which would be weird like considering that it's to showcase a new kit design) but even still the new shirt clearly looks paler/more 'washed out' than the leaked photo.
• The trim at the back of the Tom Davies image just doesn't seem to fit with the cut of the leaked top, and there's no evidence of any discernable trim present on the top of the shoulders.
• The shoulder trims themselves (with the Umbro motif) are akin to what we've seen on Umbro training gear before, including this season.
• There's no reason to suggest that the new sponsor can't be on the training gear as well. We could still have Chang on the arms couldn't we?
• Overall the leaked top is just too bland/not 'iconic' looking enough. Given our relationship with Umbro I'd expect nothing but a fully bespoke, smart looking top particularly if it's going to adorned with that Dixie Dean motif.

Well, looks like I was wrong...

Still think the top is ok though. It's not ugly by any means, it's just boring. Pretty weak effort from Umbro really.

..I'm never particularly bothered about the kit. This looks like an Everton top, I'm more interested in the players who are going to wear it.

I dont think it looks very Everton at all myself, the navy blue sweat patches and lack of white dont help, cant beleive it takes them something like 18 months to come up with that, literally looks like theyve lashed a badge on some surplus stock they had laying about.
