New Healthy Start

Weekend was hit and miss again. got a make your own pizza for tea and had a pound bakery baguette for lunch on saturday and sunday was 2 breakfast biscuits and two bowls of scouse, with 2 little bread with the evening one. Had 2 choc yogurts as well yesterday, little ones though.

big weigh in though today. Last week was an experiment to see how much i would lose with minimal exercise, seeing as though it was fish and salad 4 out of the 5 days. So if it comes back less than 4 pounds off = need to exercise. If it comes back as 4 pounds off = exercise means more weight loss. If i have gained then need to exercise as a priority.

and lunch today, kippers and salad bag ;)

Can we change the thread title to 'Weight loss doesn't necessarily mean healthy start' please?

(But well done if that was your goal really).
Still not near my goal, probably at least 2 and a half stone before i feel better.

but most meals i eat especially during the week are veg based, salad and veg with evening meal. After 7 weeks, what i eat and drink has massively changed and i still haven't had a bar of chocolate, had like 2 cans of pop, had 2 little packs of crisps in 7 weeks, and as i say most of my meals are either half size or much healthier.

Plus drink wise i pretty much only drink water or green tea, have my 5 a day, cut out sugars, pastas bread, bad carbs are a minimum (blob of mash at dinner only).

Think considering all of the above, really is a new healthy start for me.

And that's all that matters.

I've been having 5 puddings a night on holiday.

Don't forget you've been wrestling with a toilet seat for most of yesterday afternoon, I bet that brought a bit of a sweat on. Joking aside it all counts. Its like housework, that can burn more calories than you would think.

i found the other week just walking round the pier head counter balanced an unhealthy week lol

To be honest i feel tired when i'm not active anymore. Like at the weekend, me sat on couch rather than being out i get tired, but getting out i feel fine.

You definitely do get a bit of a buzz from exercising. I do a bit of running/cycling, and getting back afterwards you feel proper energised.
