New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

I haven’t had any issues at all with the new ground. I’ve actually found it easier getting home than it was at Goodison.
I am in the same boat as you with regards to transport. Whilst it does take longer for me to get away from the crowds dispersing from the stadium, I find that once I am away from them I can get to a bus stop in less than ten minutes, with the distance I am having to walk to get to a bus stop being much shorter than what I had to walk when going to Goodison.

I understand that will not be the case for all supporters and the choices available in terms of public transport definitely fall short of expectations if you live further away from the ground in areas like South Liverpool and Wirral.

Thanks mate that’s what I’m curious about, is it that much more expensive in the ground to outside! Suppose that depends where you go.
Exactly - It’s not massively more expensive inside our ground mate, not at all. Of course you can find places with cheap pints, but around town is about 7 pound a pint standard.

The Guinness is a quid more expensive over at that Bramley Moore social than inside BMD also, so I really don’t know what rsdotcom is chunnering on about.

BMD isn’t more expensive than other top flight clubs prices as far as I can tell, and certainly not more expensive than klanfield.

Sadly, the premier league and our owners want day trippers going to the games, it’s not about the traditional football supporter any more, hasn’t been for years, and wasn’t at the end of Goodison.

Be nice if the owners do what spurs do and reduce the prices during and after games, they would make more money and keep people in the place longer, prob selling more grub - also, I could have done with a few cheap pints yesterday to salve the pain!

Yeah I don’t drink mate and I considered starting again just to numb the pain 😂😂. I have no problem with his view, just don’t appreciate being called a Tory because I don’t agree with him!

Make cheaper food prices available to season ticket holders, it's not like they haven't already ponied up...I'm sure a QR code could be scanned on your phone prior to or after purchase. Will it be abused, likely...but it's the easiest/quickest temp solution until they can come up with something else.

Excuse language, but an indication of ticket availability;

Even Seat Unique have "Premium" tickets for £60. Gonna be a lot of empty seats in the ground on Wednesday.

Question for you, I’m curious I don’t drink anymore. How much is that pint outside of the ground?? I want to know how much less is that pint outside the ground compared to inside.

Guinness in the Terrace bar directly opposite the stadium is £6.50, in the stadium £6.95, so not much in it. The pint in the stadium was nicer too.

Obviously there are cheaper places around town you can drink, but anything within the immediate vicinity of the stadium is much of a muchness. As you would expect really.

I love this site, but one thing I struggle with is how your admirable intolerance of poor language sits alongside the ability to emoji a middle finger at unsuspecting posters.

Personally, I think the odd swear word is far less aggressive and anti-social than a middle finger. Either way, there's an inconsistency there somewhere.

Thank you for allowing me to drag this excellent thread off-topic. I'll stop now. 🖕

Have you ever dealt with Everton, they don’t know what a QR code is 😂

3 Guinness, a carling, two lemonades and a coke £25 in the dock wall bar. Not bad that really. Carling was £4 a pint https://www.instagram.com/thedockwallbar?igsh=MTd6MHpld2VzcDU1Zg==
