Was that bad they never put it on big screenThere's no official attendance online for Brentford at home yet.
It did sell out officially. It’s just the resale platform had 100’s of tickets available. But it’s been easy to get tickets for every game on the resale.Spoke to a steward just after half time and she said it was the first game where we didn't sell out. Said it was down by about 8k.
It doesn't feel like Everton's stadium or a fortress at all. It's not presented as that, it's presented as an entertainment hub and fans pick up on that and feel dispensable rather than identifying with it and owning it. Only when you have a sense of proprietorship do you get people being immersed in a venue. The talk about the atmosphere, while fans need to participate, it was dead at Goodison for the last few years at times.
I saw a clip on YouTube of a match Sheff Weds v Forest opening game 84/85, can't remember who won the league that year, they wore blue. Anyway my point is the crowd was vocal and loud.
I remember games at Goodison games like Man U and the RS it would be raucous pre kick off too.. Now it's so lame.
Fans have changed. Can get up for it but it's not an every game. Fans create atmosphere. Sing! Get new songs. Get a singing section. Get away blues together because they know how to f kin sing.
But the football has to improve.
Try saying that with out a breath![]()
No way was there 8k empty seats last night.Spoke to a steward just after half time and she said it was the first game where we didn't sell out. Said it was down by about 8k.

Going on the tour today, I'll ask
Did the stadium tour today and again blown away by the stadiu and its facilities. Had three tour guides and mentioned the rail seating - and asked is the rail seating the provision for future standing or does it mean people can stand now - and all three said that it gives people the option to stand nowadays is designed insuch away that if someone decides to stay seated behind you , then they should still be Abe to seeGoing on the tour today, I'll ask
If that happened seat unique would hardly sell a seat, which is why it is in their and the clubs interest to make passing on your ticket as difficult as possibleThey should just allow any EFC account access resale and allow people who have put their seat on the resale to reduce the price to whatever they like.
Seats near me in the upper east but people I know won't be paying to be a member then pay £65 for wolves at home on a Wednesday night. There would be loads on there for £20 or less if the seat holder had the choice to pick the price. Does my head in
dunno u know, there was a few big blocks and 1s and 2s all over the ground, they all add up.No way was there 8k empty seats last night.
Big gaps in the west stand, but couldn't tell if they were eating their food somewhere and not watching the game. Looking at the MOD at the Etihad can any one guess why a large block of seats were empty right behind the goal on the left? I know they are unhappy at the decline of their team, but....?
