This is off skyscraper city, someone has overlapped the new stand over the main stand and it's absolutely massive. This is going to be so imposing in reality.

Well as walls go I like it. I can't support your trampoline solution due to concerns about wind blowing jumpers off target.

I see what you mean. Just that this is April 2018; all change since then. The 'new' plans are for a scaled back stadium. The original reveals at St Luke's in April 2018 were different to what it is now. Bigger, 60,000 size.

So the size of the stand we are going for is still bigger /taller than our main stand at Goodison ?

Indeed, 3 sides will be bigger and even the North end won't be that much smaller than how tall the back of the top balcony is.

Was thinking that. How has Tottenham worked out for rain as that roof is ridiculously high?

I've been to every home P/L game and as of yet I don't think we've had a real windy wet game but as said, cos the roof is so high, if the wind is "average" I would guess the first 20 rows will be affected by a wind and rain in that direction, if it just "falls" then like at all new stadiums, all fans are covered by a roof.

Cos of having such a high roof this was a consideration as to why we chose our seats in the middle tier (and for those that have been, as my profile picture, that is the tier on top of you away supporters.)

But with less carparking (up to now) and more spectators, less pubs for them to sit in while the traffic dies down, only Regents Rd as an exit, I'd be making sure I set off early.

I'm going to set off for home just before kickoff to make sure I miss the rush to get out

You're right, the highest part without the roof is the bigger capacity that we never went for. The one with the roof is how it will be now.

if that is how the capacity is/was reduced from 60k to 52k, it must be capable of going back the other way by lifting the roof and slotting in a few more rows. Bingo. Its easy this stadium design shizzle.

Each row at the top adds nearly a thousand seats, I'm still none the wiser why they didn't bite the bullet and have whacked on an extra 5. Infinitely cheaper and easier to do now than later.
