Taking nothing away from certain design triumphs and the potential for atmosphere generation that's been glimpsed on occasion, I think overall it has to be considered a failure at this point.

The results matter a lot, of course. But the feeling of alienation and lack of physical connectivity have swamped this new stadium.

That'll change over time. But right now this is a 4/10 experience. People feel distant from the matchday experience and / or ripped off by it.

I think there's too much hospitality & access to drink at the ground, so many are more keen to have a drink & socialise than watch the match.
Come in late, go down 10 mins before half time & leave well before full time.
Anyway, just a sign of the times I guess (& the football not being great doesn't help).

Think they should have a 15 minute timer on the concourse, few times I've been caught out not realising it had restarted

I disagree: @18efc78 it's a terrible idea. I'd have no excuse then to spend longer at the concourse and instead would have to endure the tepid football.
