New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

So looking at those plans. To achieve 60K we have to demolish 20 houses and we loose one of the Leitch stands anyway.

So basically we're rebuilding most of the ground. How is this possibly cheaper than building on a new site?

Together with an 'outside partner(s) such as an hotel operator who would develop the corporate'.

Doesn't this get back to my earlier point though that none of this is possible without the financing in place, be it the Board putting real cash into the club (not debt as funding by debt will not increase the club's cashflow) and having outside partners ready to contribute?

Yeah. You could definitely fit an 80k stadium on that footprint. :drunk:

The main thing he stresses was this the most feasible plan, if they cant even plan to do this then they havent a cat in hells of getting money (7 times the amount) for a new stadium in place from day one.

Fair enough, and I agree totally if they could not fund this then a new stadium is out of the question.

I guess the question for everyone, not just BU, is how to solve the new investment/new owner conundrum.
