New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

He’s a club legend in my eyes

Done more to progress the club than anyone in the last 30 years and spent about had a billion in the process

I’m made up he’s still a fan. Imagine losing all that money and still being able to cheer them on.

Daft signings and staff appointments.

I still stand by the fact that if the war happened, we would have been financially sound with all the Russian sponsors we had. Maybe even been able to learn and spend our ways out of our previous mistakes.

Him and Usmanov made the ground happen and we would have either been still at goodison or a Wigan like stadium in Walton hall park.

Always welcome imo.

Essentially this is true. No Moshiri/Uzmanov money = no stadium. 100% true.

That said, we should always remind ourselves that their cash was from stealing state assets and that Uzmanov was a warlord/gangster and Moshiri his bag man.

Yeah I’m glad someone’s said that because I still worry that people don’t quite realise who was behind us there. Interesting to see Usmanov’s funds referenced in the Epstein files as Russian gangster money and Epstein himself urging caution to someone about getting involved. When Epstein draws a line at someone, it says something.

We were forecasting to breach PSR in 2021 before Ukraine became an issue. James Rodriguez was always going to have to be sacrificed. Moshiri gambled with the clubs very existence imo.

Supporters club meeting last night.

Pretty grim when you consider the apparent progress made by the club (new stadium, league position etc).

Obviously transport and ticketing issues were covered but the worrying thing for me is the behaviour of our fans: spitting chewing gum on memorial stones, stealing wheel chairs, racism, homophobia, vaping/smoking in the ground.

The yellow tickets left on seats are for reported abusive language, violent behaviour and smoking/vaping - a number of banning orders have been made.

Not saying I know either way and not meaning to act like a kopite but how do we know its blues spitting chewy on the stones? Away fans are there every game and anybody can go there on non match days. If it is blues they're f'ing idiots.
