Villa’s owners have been there 7 years, the Friedkins have been here 1 year and are rebuilding a club that could easily have gone out of business before they took over.

Totally difference circumstances and even so the points stands,

If their end goal isn’t ending this 31 year wait for a trophy go.

No matter what you say it’s that simple

I think that will be the aim but I can see it taking a while yet, at least as long as Villa have taken since their owners joined and that’s if they make the right decisions each year.

The board rooms of Newcastle Villa Spurs (if they stay up) Forest will all be discussing how they can get back into the big time, back into top European competitions and push on in the league.

Chelsea Liverpool City United will all be talking about how soon they can win the title again.

We’ll be with Fulham congratulating ourselves on another year in the league and seeing which experienced PL players we can get to keep us in for another year.

The right decision this year would have been to replace Moyes with Iraola or Glasner, in my opinion so it looks like they’ll be failing that.

Let’s hope with this recruitment team having been in place a year, they don’t target the wrong type of player again (e.g. someone who wants European football given that was the excuse laid out last summer)

They just need to band aid the Moyes situation. No sentiment, get rid as quickly as possible after Sunday.

They’ve been pretty ruthless at Roma I think? Although that’s tended to be mid season by the looks of things

Does anyone strongly think we change things up in the Summer? Or is it doomed to hope
Doomed to hope. He made that statement about keeping him for stability with only two games of the season left. Would be a mad change of heart if they decided against. Unless of course Moyes decides to ‘retire’

We need some comms from this lot. Something that doesn’t say satisfied with mediocrity.

Amazing that with a new stadium we haven’t seen Dan or Ryan. Very strange.

The fans want to know about ambitions, direction etc
