Im not some love struck teenager, im a realist, Everton is just 1 of their many businesses they own, they invest in.

If they wanna spend their weekends hunting tigers or shooting racoons, then good for them, as long as when it comes to cheque signing time they show up, I simply do not care.

I think it would offend me more if they rocked up with an Everton scarf and pretended that they knew what an Everton was before they bought us.

Would be funny if they rocked up wearing Tiger skin coats and Racoon hats.

Kind of hard to find a lot of data for success when moving to a new stadium given most of these stadiums are a century old. Most get upgraded with new stands or teams fold. Look at Everton. Been a long time since Goodison was created until now.

At least it should have us looking a lot sharper as there's been too many pre seasons where we've looked really under cooked fitness wise.

Rather PL teams than the usual collection of Austrian farmers and League One dross of recent preseasons. Plus we'll definitely have a big-name opponent, likely Roma, for the last preseason game at BMD.

Rather this where we will likely get a decent financial package than what we have had for the last few years in Bury, Preston and Blackpool away.

Other than this nice American jolly, This preseason will be a difficult one logistically. Should we play any games at BMD or is everything to be geared up for Day one of the league?

We've played almost all pre-season games away for as long as I can remember, usually apart from the last one a week before the season starts which we have played at home. I think all pre-season games will be away for this year, saving the first home game for the PL at BMD.

I dont say it wont be. I say it wont necessarily be so.

My guess is we'll struggle to find our feet in new surroundings.

Itlls a dangerous period for the club as well as being an exciting one.

We'll basically have a lot of our home advantage taken away from us until we have a few seasons under our belt.

That's why we'll need MUCH better players to keep out of danger in future.

Home advantage? Until dyche left we were losing most of our home games , I think we'll be fine.
