So…….we’ve reached the stage in which a lot of people think because Moshiri has gone away he has taken all of Everton’s money troubles away with him? Clean slate? That’s not how business works. The Friedkin Group are trying to sift through a financial bomb site that was left by Moshiri and his yes men. They already stated that finances were still an issue short term, my guess is until we are very much assured as a premier league team in our new stadium. New sponsors etc are going to want assurances and the riches of the premier league will be one of them. Really sorry if some of you thought we’d spend 100million in January, but you can thank the last owner that we are not.

On the other hand, I think it would be really really poor (and also very risky) if we don’t add to the squad, especially given recent injuries.

No, the point is that they're handing a club well placed to do more than survive massive cash to spend and starving Everton of cash when we're desperate for it.

Bought Rensch from Ajax today...he's a RB though so we dont really want one of those.

Didnt they just recently inject serious capital into Everton also?

Dave the window is open for 2 more weeks, if it slams shut and we have done nothing, we can fly over to Texas together and find them, ok?
