It was always said they’d bring some commercial competence to the club, and this does not happen without good PR, given that one of their existing specialisms is film production, so happy with it but as we all know, proof will be in how they manage the footballing side of things. A refreshing start nonetheless.

You have to take the corporate stuff with a pinch of salt but at least they've made an effort. TFG should be judged on the same merits as any other owner.

It is good to have some leadership at the club at last though. Not a minimal, absentee, nondescript board. I expect Marc Watts to see us through to the opening of the stadium and this difficult period to come. His background is impressive. We need people with stature like that, otherwise as we've seen we are easy pickings and can't respond effectively to Premier League politics and vested interests.

The exception to that is Colin Chong. It was great to see him centre stage for the handover, where he belonged and has richly earned.

100% all of this.

Interesting detail that the new Freakin' owners have only acquired 99.5% of the club and the remaining 0.05% is still under the helm of one William Kenwright, deceased.
No, the remaining shares are held by independent shareholders, about 7000 shares in total. I have one share, for example.

It’s almost worthless now, but I never bought it for its value or growth potential.
