You have to be willing to do all the leg work that made Atalanta doing this possible though. Gasperini is a solid manager but he's not magic.
Give the fella a 3 year target and back him in the transfer market and who knows. He did it with Atalanta on a limited budget so he could do it for us. The current crop of slugs would squeal at his training methods though.
