Same difference though isn't it...fans need to belt up and accept it. One's just more abrasive than the other.
At least we are getting taken out for a nice meal first, before we get ****ed.

All it needs is a small Liver Bird near the Nike logo. Everton used the symbol of the city way before Liverpool AFC. We should not forget we are oldest team in the city. Even Liverpool Ramblers are older than Liverpool AFC.
Nah come on, Alan is doing a good job here. He's clearly hamstrung. The process has been decided and that's the end of it, but it's wrong to blame him.
It depends on the scale of the job and the purpose - low end £250 ish a piece, with this I'd assume a few grand.
He's Mr Nice Guy. His job is exactly the same as his predecessors though.
The all important logo for a company turning over 120M pa - that'll be considerably more than a few grand, I'd suspect.

Depends how stupid the company is - there's no reason to pay any more than a grand or so a piece considering the scale of the project begins and ends at three designs.
Possibly a bit more with the stadium mock-ups etc. but I assume this has been done by a design agency who are placed on a retainer for all digital design assets.
Re: Alan, what do you expect of him though mate? He can't morph into Bill Kenwright and sort all the clubs ills. He's employed to liaise effectively with the fans and he's done a great job of that.
They'll be getting a lot more than a few grand... they've run the entire consultation process as well as actually doing the designs.
So the 'consultation' period is at an end, and these are the only options? No fourth option of 'none of the above'. How is that the much boasted 'we're listening to fans on this and we will get it right'?
Alan Myers is getting feedback telling him there needs to be a rethink on the options, but he's just resolved now to peddling images of the badges on jerseys as a response to the concerns.
I think that just about covers it.
