He's great. He was before my time, but from the looks of it he was great.

I'm not saying that in the greatest list of footballers Nev should be ahead of Maradona, Pele etc. No goalkeeper would be, it's not sexy enough position and generally teams that do well they have little to do. My point is for all the matches Maradona won with spectacular goals, Nev would have done the same with spectacular saves.

Anyone who ever read one of his old 'Mail on Sunday' (me Mum used to get it) football columns could have told you that! Even the Mail eventually realised his knowledge of football was miniscule.
