Neville Southall is the undisputed king of Twitter

Anyone who ever read one of his old 'Mail on Sunday' (me Mum used to get it) football columns could have told you that! Even the Mail eventually realised his knowledge of football was miniscule.
I have never read his column in anything and never would but anyone who thinks Seaman was better than Nev is deluded or on drugs.

I'm sure with his openess and appreciation of others on Twitter a spot with EITC could be the first opportunity to bring him back into the fold . Can't believe a man of his ability has been cast aside by the hierarcy.

You may find the “hierarchy” consisted of BK.

Once he’s gone Nev may be embraced once more.

Hopefully anyway. Legend.
Cant for the life of me know why Big Nev has never been our goalkeeper coach, best I've ever seen, heard that he upset Moyes when he signed Richard Wright and asked what he thought of him,Nev replied hes something that rhymes with wright so that's why BK and DM never wanted him around our great club because he told it like it is.

I remember when I was a kid having an obscure Everton video called 'Great Games, Great Goals 1984 - 1993'. It was a puzzling one because it missed all our great games from the 80's apart from the '84 cup final. It also had some dodgy choices for great games, including a 2-2 first leg draw with Crystal Palace in the League Cup.

Anyway, the save that always mesmerised me on that video was against City in the early 90's I believe. The City player was on the end of a cross to the far post, and it should of been a tap in. Southall got there for the save, but no goalkeeper had the right to get there. The commentators response was 'how did Southall get on the end of that one'. I must of watched that video countless times as a kid, mainly for the cup final, and that save has always stuck out for me. He simply shouldn't of been there, and I could never work how he did it.

Looking back now, it was probably that save that started Southall down the road of being my favourite player.

I have that video as well!

He certainly wasn't wrong.
