As great as we were yesterday we hardly troubled Szczesny.

*Coleman tended to pull the ball back behind the strikers.
*Oviedo played balls in the air but they were usually cut out at the near post.
*Deulofeu tends to shoot from even the tightest of angles rather than pulling the ball back.
*Lukaku often has trouble with his decision-making and weight of pass.
*Barkley will shoot from distance rather than looking for a through ball or wall pass.

I know that we have some very young forwards and that Arsenal defended well but if we can get our delivery right we should start to get the clear cut chances that our build up play has deserved.

RM will get it sorted one way or another but take the positives that we are playing better than anyone expected and its part 1 of Martinezs forward thinking. In time we will get it right.

The understanding between the players will continue to improve, as will the decision making of some of the younger players.

We were also missing Baines who has the best delivery at the club.

I wouldn't worry

Baines is yet to provide an assist this season. Maybe Lukaku needs to be a bit cuter with his runs? That's probably Jelavic's greatest strength.

yes i agree we got to the box and then we either lost the ball or passed it off .. i would rather people to have a shot and run in for the rebound.

I also thought we lost the ball a few to many times with all the passing, its also nice to see howard playing really well lately was worried that him shaving his beard off would hinder his performance lol

Lukaku was making some great runs in the first half and never getting the ball. I think it affected the rest of his game, he looked a bit frustrated at times to me. I also think at times that we aren't getting enough players in the box to finish the crosses we're generating.

I'm not looking to be critical, just some things I noticed.

We've still massively improved compared to the start of the season when it felt like we were just passing it round for the sake of it. Now there isn't as much of the passing round at the back and holding it for the sake of it, we are actually creating chances and our play isn't boring but in fact very exciting and quick. I'm sure it will only get better as well.

Lukaku seemed to want the ball played up to him earlier (like his goal at City) and he may have been frustrated waiting for it to come through midfield. If there was a race between him and Mertesacker I'm pretty sure Romelu would cause him all sort of problems. Maybe we still need to mix it up a little bit?

I said that a few times yesterday. We need to keep him involved in the play and get it in to him earky from time to time.

To be fair though keeping the ball against Arsenal is vitally important. Against other teams i think we can, and will mix it up more

We are 15 games into a new season with a new manager and a totally new philosophy and approach to games. We've beaten Chelsea and United, battered the ****e and outpassed the pass masters.

We've gone from just keeping possession for the sake of it to now moving forward and counter attacking at pace with fast interchangeable passing.

Give Bobby and the players a couple of more games and i'm sure it'll be addressed.

What he said.

robertos said we'll get better and if we find that killer pass more frequently it'll be a jizzfest
