I think this is what's called ' a good hiding ' in the UK for the Wizards.
Really fancied Celtics tonight, but this was an utter cruise.

They took them out behind the woodshed and defo gave them a hiding.

Weird playoffs so far...nearly every game has been a blowout. Hoping the Celtics face the Cavs and at least give them a fight.

The Wizards are either the 85 Lakers or the Process 76ers. There is no inbetween. I expect them to win by 30 in game 6 and lose game 7 by the same amount.

Still can't believe how thoroughly good the Spurs were last night and how terrible Harden was. I turned it on in the 2nd Q, so I missed most of his terribleness. Has there been any explanation for that yet?

Not the first time Harden has been awful in a big game. I remember him having a stinker against the Warriors in an elimination game a couple of years ago. Had almost as many turnovers as points.

Completely disappeared in the NCAA tournament too.

I feel like there are more examples...too lazy to look.

any talk of anyone surpassing MJ is just bs. but if we use rings as a gauge, as a Celtics fan, i can always point to the guy with a ring on each of his fingers... and one left over for his shillelagh.

Russell doesn't get enough credit, but it's hard to compare yesteryear with today. They only had 8 (?) teams and without modern player movement rules the teams weren't particularly balanced.

Still think he'd be great today. A friend compares him to Duncan, a highly skilled 4/5, which seems reasonable.
