Anyone with any sense of football can observe that we've accomodated Patterson in his - thankfully short period time in the first team - by playing in a cautious manner with loads of bodies behind the ball. And anyone can see that he's needed helpimg out in a big way in th 3/4 games he's had by the RW and Tarkowski.
No team looking to control gmes can operate that way. That isn't sustainable...and playing behind the ball for long periods wont be tolerated at home in matches like tonights. So it'll be interesting to see what happens regarding team selection - and if Patterson does start then how he copes with the stabiliser off.
