Defending wasn't the best but you can't deny he's good at getting forward. Might be a better alternative on the right wing than harrison and lindstrom. I reckon the latter could come good but right now he's too weak

It's not part of any system of marking to run forward when you're second favourite to challenge for a ball, lose that challenge and leave the rest of the defence exposed.

...oh, and then he jogs back to the far post where he should be mopping up a shot passed into the net from the edge of the area.

He was no better or worse than anyone else on the pitch and certainly doesn't deserve the analytical focus and negative bias on display in here.

Typical Patterson performance really. Did well going forward but sloppy at times. I think he should be our starting RB now due to that attacking threat but needs upgraded in future.

Played well going forward, given lots of space, is he the answer? I'm not sure, there was a few moments of poor quality giving the ball away. Was nice to see him get a run though.
