Untrue Mon ami

I see a young lad learning his trade ( and there'll be mistakes along the way like they all do ) after a big move for him and wanting him to progress to become what we all want , a long term successor to Seamus .

We should have loaned him out in the summer to a Championship club.

Come the next game against Villa in the league he will be on the bench.

Nope. Scouted prior to Benitez by Brands. Gerrard had left Rangers well before we signed Patterson.

Considering the 10 points deduction primarily came due to stadium costs and the PL changing what was allowable, it has very little to do with Patterson.

All of which has been explained to you many times in the past. Ignorance is bliss I guess in your case.

Gerard left exactly one month before the deal completed but we'd been in heavy the previous window and it was all set up.

The idea best pals Gerard and Benitez hadn't colluded is ridiculous.

The cost of this deal weighed on our books. That's a fact.

He is starting over them at the moment and I don't see any immediate improvement. I'd play him when we're safer on points like. He's being played at the moment because we've no other option but unfortunately we will look more solid when Coleman is back in there.
Can argue been the same as young but agree with you havent really seen anything from him to be in the side over coleman for me. Said it before we really need him to step it up and take his chances at rb

So you are saying as a fact that you think we paid £19m transfer fee for him and pay him £70k a week?

And you wonder why people think you are a wum/idiot.

His basic is reported as £40k per week. Basic. On a 5.5 Yr deal that's going to go up in fixed increments.

Read the post mate. Not blaming him at all but such stupid mind numbing transfers are the reason we are in such a mess and got a 10 point penalty. Not blaming him or his family at all. Fair play to them.

Err why don't you go post the same in Myko's thread, Chermiti's, Onana's, take your pic.

If <> doesn't do that deal <> we probably wouldn't have had the 10 points deduction.

So of all our players getting regular minutes, he is on the lowest wage? And far from the £70k you claimed?

Thanks for admitting you were wrong.

What and start the season with just Ashley Young? Honestly make a top quality DoF you.

When Young is back he will be third choice. Next premier league game will be Coleman starting.

A loan to the championship in the summer would have been best for all parties. If Young and Coleman remain fit he will be a bit part player at best for us unfortunately.
