I don't think the article was slating Nathan Patterson for his whole performance, just more for the way he defended when Georgia scored their second goal. To be fair to you though, it would appear that he didn't have the best of games, which was probably partly due to his lack of game time, as well as picking up a yellow card within the first ten minutes and then having to contend with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia for the rest of the match trying not to receive a second yellow.
The lad may not be Danny McGrain but I don't think he's as bad as a lot of people try making him out to be. Hopefully, he'll get another go on Sunday, when Scotland face Norway, as he does need to be playing more.
