My view on Anichebe.

I'd actually be a little disappointed if we sold him now, he's finally playing well on a semi regular basis and scoring goals.

Still, at least we'd get more money for him now than we would have done 12 months ago.

i am sure hes been wrong before on one of our players, went back in the end on what he said

I had a bit of Twitter banter with him a couple of years ago where he said Fener were gonna sign Yobo on a perm deal about 10 mins after Moyes had said in a press conference that there had been no fresh offer (2011 so he later went back on loan).

Don't think he is a deliberate 'faker' though - seems to know a lot of the Nigerian players. Probs no smoke without fire as well, but can't see this happening unless it is a ridiculous offer, every player has their price after all. Would Vic even go there...??? guess Russian owners with deep pockets can be persuasive though.

Thought the first half he was generally crap, tbh. But credit, he improved as the game went on and got 2 fine assists, in particular Coleman's goal, a lovely weight of pass.

he had a few "moody" moments tonight but he has improved 100% from 2 years ago!

just keep that smile on his face and he will become even better!
