My 50kg weight loss challenge

People who have lost weight on the jabs are extremely noticeable because almost all of them have taken it too far.

Scott Disick from the Kardashian's prime example:

Yes, very specifically the dark baggy eyes and drawn face. Looks like being severely ill. Hadn't considered the jab when I'd commented on Allen. Might be a case of to much to soon. Tapered loss so the impact is less.

Sunday weigh in

152.1 kg

Good start.

Slow and steady is the key to long-term weight loss. If you can make small, sustainable changes, then your body will get used to it.

Once your body is used to it, then make more small changes, but if your body doesn't have time to get used to the changes, then it'll eventually revert to what it sees as the norm.

It's common sense really, but there was a really good article about the science behind it the other day ...

Apologies if this is preaching to the converted.

Use it as motivation for the next week. Whenever you feel tempted to slip just think "but last week I was good and I lost nearly 5lbs. If I'm good again, it could be another 5lbs"

Honestly I kept it simple, logged everything i ate, stuck to my ready meals, if I wanted a biscuit or something logged it. Drank 2l of water per day.

Just stopped at 2k cals.

As I get more into it I will be going to a more strict diet, meal prepping, cutting out sugar etc but not yet

Im just cal counting for now,

Day 10, its getting easier to track the calories now. Im not as hungry either
Im not calorie counting myself but my partner does it, she reckons im not eating enough calories and due to the exercise I’m doing im in defecit. Personally i feel fine, i had a small Actimel drink and porridge for breakfast today, then i went for a walk and in my bag i had a boiled egg, a handful of grapes and a Blue Ribband wafer. I ate another boiled egg and a packet of waters reduced fat things crisps. For tea this evening i had 2 Cajun chicken skewers with savoury rice and broccoli, then later this evening i ate a pink and white wafer thing that my mrs buys. Whilst out walking earlier i burned about 860 calories so I need to find a way to get more calories in but i dint feel hungry.

Have the same problem, mate. I often supplement with protein shakes. I mix some milk, frozen banana, peanut butter, oatmeal and protein powder, easy calories. Used to be 68 kg at 192cm, now I'm at 76 kg.

Blue ribands are lovely.

You could probably afford to have a nice breakfast by the sounds of things, decent omelette or sonething.

Are you doing that run in Chester?

No mate, it’s on Anglesey. Hoping to drop 2 stone with eating better and regular exercise, running will be so much easier when I’m lighter 😂

Also, I’ve got a 7 month window so need for crash dieting or pushing too hard with exercise, I’ve purposely left enough time to build up stamina and fitness slowly whilst simultaneously losing weight as a result. I’ll still have a treat once a week, I’ve got a couple of beers in for tomorrow night as I’m going back to work on Friday until Monday. I’ll probably have a beer Monday night too but will be back making healthier choices on Tuesday and doing more exercise.
I’m following this thread closely though as you’re doing great and I’m interested in following your progress, keep up the good work 👍
