McCarthy and Besic are good players who, along with Cleverley, should be regulars for us especially when the games are coming as frequently as they are. Just can't understand how you can be apparently oblivious to the good qualities that Barry brings to the team especially in a team currently without Jags to direct some of the younger players.

I can remember two other games when the manager got booed for taking the ridiculous decision to bring him off when he was running the game. Maybe you missed them.
Wrong, it was the usual idiots that boo Ross, they were wrong. besic was not sticking to his task, and was never running any games at all. The best game he played, he still didnt get man of the match.

Ive always said barry has done well individually this season BUT as a midfield partnership these two would be brilliant together. They have everything the team needs as a partnership in midfield.

Not really mate. We know with this manager players are not picked on their ability. We'll continue to watch Ross breaking up any momentum we build up or McCarthy sitting on the half way line. Who needs an all round midfielder anyway.

Ya Barry has done well and reads the game very well. However is he top 4 material. If we want to progress Barry won't be there in the middle in a year or 2. Besic and mccarthy would potentially be a snarly midfield with a bit of ball in them. Possible top 4 midfield. We can see how much we miss mccarthy since November. He protects the central defenders with his energy covering ground tackles etc. Besic would allow him get forward more.
Imagine still not seeing it after today.

Err, you've complained about Barry being immobile, not getting back fast enough, his tackles being too robust/late and generally claimed he has little effect on the game - if those comments are you praising someone's individual performances I'd hate to see a critical review!
What exactly do you think the partnership of Besic and McCarthy would bring? Have to confess they seem a bit too similar to me at this point in time to play as a midfield two although in some of the tougher away games think they would be good.
Besic takes no prisoners rally's the team and fans alike and does what he's there for. More game time for him I hope
