agree with this - I was quite suprised how much praise Besic got after the derby, I thought he did just about ok overall obviously taking into account the circumstances (debut/derby) - first 10 minutes he looked so up for it, really showing for and demanding the ball but he seemed to fade a bit when a couple of runs/passes didnt come off for him - I'd be optimistic that he will come good though once he gets a good few games under his belt

well thats a good start, i think he did ok saturday and i would like to see him figure in a few more games against the so called lesser teams, its difficult to tell from a brief appearance v chelsea and a derby game, i do think he will make into a good player in the future.

I don't get the hype myself. Decent player who I think will be good, but there were people on here after the Porto game saying he'll definitely become an Everton legend and could be the midfielder we've needed since Peter Reid. Apparently I was being negative when I said we need to calm down and wait a bit before saying stuff like that.
