were too slow getting the ball forward at times, Lukaku is making the run on the last man only to see the ball going side ways or back. How many goals did the red [Poor language removed] score last season with 3 passes as we seem to need 15 to 20 to get to the edge of the box. We are missing Barkley so much but not as much as LUkaku at present.

Does anyone remember last season (I think) when Osman had a howler (I think he cost us a goal, not sure) and the next game Martinez made him captain and he played well?

Everyone called it great "man management" at the time.

Perhaps Martinez has to do something similar with Besic. Obviously not captain, but show the fans he has faith in Besic's ability.

I'm not sure about that Barry has let the games from a defensive point of view pass him by.

Plus you generally get these mistakes when players have limited time on the pitch to impress.

With the EL coming up one way or the other we're going to see how good this kid is pretty soon.

Not the best circumstances to bring on a player for his debut but either way everything's already been said, Besic'll show his talent once given another chance hopefully against West Brom. Put him on from the 1st minute instead of Barry or McCarthy and Martinez will never want to take him off

It shows how confident Besic is in his own ability. However, he has to learn that he is now playing in a league where errors are punished by goals nearly every time.
