Does anyone else find it strange that our stand out performer by a country mile in an awful pre season has not played a minute of football yet. IMO there was a strong case for him being brought on in the last 20 minutes in both games. But obviously Roberto must not think he is ready.

Agreed. He looked a lot more ready than anyone else in preseason.

I agree that he is a loyal servant and an experienced pro, but I'm sorry he should not be starting every week. His performance against arsenal suggests he is lucky to be on as sub let alone start.

I like Osman, but he hasn't been at his best for a while now. I am really looking forward to seeing Besic in some proper league action. I haven't seen much of him, but everything I have seen impresses me.

He seems to be a natural leader, and I am perplexed that RM hasn't given him some game time, as I am convinced we would have won both the Leicester and Arsenal games with him on the field in the later stages to steady the ship.

It wouldn't surprise me if he started Osman ahead of Besic but i wouldn't understand why. I don't see what Osman could do better than Besic.

Judging by his continued selection, i'd say osman must suck length better
