He nearly never smiles that's why Bosnians named him the Bosnian Predator ( but according to several fans and his former teammates he's a very decent, nearly shy guy in private). Couldn't find his position at the right during firts 15 minutes that's why he couldn't play his agressive game throughout the whole match, he can't risk anymore. And yes it wasn't his best match but in Hungary sometimes he didn't care about it and went on. And his tattoos has nothing to do with his play whether You like it or not.

Fantastic passing and ball retention. At times sloppy tackling. Pretty much what we've come to expect but was nice to see that after the yellow he didn't put in any reckless tackles.
For me a starter with McCarthy and Barry. I'm not sure if we where to only play 2 like we normally do if he would start. Could replace either but McCarthy and Barry deserve to start if only because of last season.

How can we start with him, McCarthy and Barry, given that Barkley also starts and we'd then have four midfielders but none of them able to play out wide?

He's still trying to fit into the system. Martinez played him little more forward. He got a yellow in the 1st minute apparently due to a strong tackle (I missed the first 5 minutes of the match). And consecutive fouls he was making at the beginning. He toned down his aggressiveness over the course of the game, but you could tell it wasn't his usual game, because he had to watch himself. Made some mistakes, but also had some brilliant moves and long passes, nearly had an assist as well.
Tough match to use as an example of anything, because Everton pretty much played two teams, in ~60th minute Paderhorn made 8 subs at once.

Besic can and has played rb(according to himself) so if he slots in at rb then Barry and Gibson can be our cm pairing.
A quick question...something I was thinking of BUT not having seen Besic play as a right back. He also played in that position for his club (from what I have heard)...how good is he as right back and is he good enough on right back to fill in as backup in that position?
