This would happen under Moyes but I reckon Bobby will play whoever is in the best form and mix it up depending on the opposition. He will start with Barry/McCarthy first game though no doubt.

It's a huge call. I think he will start with Barry but I'm not 100% certain of that.

I think he'll play McCarthy, Besic and Barkley in the next friendly and see how they perform. Barry has played almost every minute of pre-season now anyway.

That's the sort of club he needs now, or Newcastle or Villa. He's still got time on his side to reach the top but he needs to get games under his belt for the next couple of seasons.

As for the Rodwell and Cleverly talk. Both of these won't happen, so feel free to join me in a collective sign of relief.

.....I'm thinking that to play Besic, Barry and McCarthy would be negative and leave us lacking a little creativity. We need to know a little more about Besic, but he's certainly announced himself as a potential starter - I thought that would be the case. In yesterdays game all 3 of them rarely crossed the half way line, maybe because we were chasing the game a little but my preference is for 2 from 3 rather than make room for all.
