Fair enough lid but everyone deserves some time, including McGeady. If anyone can bring on the lacking parts of his game it's Martinez.

It really won't help having beauts on his case before the season has even got under way.

It's a regular occurrence in match thread now where I'm cringing at posts from fellow blues. Never mind cringing at the OP in the league games too like, but that's by the by.

GOT used to have reasoned debate in match day threads. Keep the plums out of them.

Fair shout mate, as a squad player he can be ok, just desperate to either loan or sign someone to start ahead of him though, atm theirs a awful osman like feel about him playing far too much this season otherwise

If he isn't performing then Martinez won't be starting him. Osman was used well from the bench last year, McGeady and others will be the same hopefully this year.

We've got some solid competition for places so those not pulling their weight or on form won't be getting too many starts.

Is right lod.

I can see another wide player defo coming in and it's needed, but when we got sexy Kevin with the weird eyes back in there it should be all good. McGeady if he remains inconsistent will get his chance to level out in the Europa League and as a sub when full backs are tired.

I reckon McGeady will do alright this year but then my expectations are probably a wee bit lower than some.
