So am I wrong in thinking Besic and McCarthy are like for like and Gibson and Barry are like for like? We defo need depth back there. You can't expect Barry and McCarthy to play that many games without injury or suspension. And although some think Barkley could play the deep lying midfielder, I want his arse going forward as close to goal as possible.

I still think he will be played in distins position in defence. Secondly as midfied cover and thirdly as left and right back cover.
I also think garbutt will be second lb to baines and oviedo will be second lw to pienaar. Mirallas and mcgeady on the right.
