Why do people still like and think a player who hasn’t played for the club for 3 years is a viable option?

The longer the absence the better they become. "Like a new signing" often spouted, cant remember the last injured player for us that ever looked like a new signing.

Bolasie will be even more annoyed now. I doubt Besic or Broadhead will even make the bench unless its an emergency but might as well have them available. I liked Besic but he is no longer that player. I hope he finds a club in the summer.

Yes, that there's a paucity of other options to fill the squad.

It costs nothing to fill up the squad list with every available player, who knows what kind of injury/suspension crisis could hit us.

I would not be surprised however if we did see Broadhead get a chance to show what he can do.
I wonder if he trains with the senior squad or the under age players?

Just a squad filler as we have loaned so many out. He will not play for us again. I remember his game in preseason when he stunk the place out.
