Mr Everton

Trying to forget about the current depression that has descended over even the most optimistic Evertonians, I thought I'd ask a question:

Who on the staff at Everton personifies Everton Football Club and what you believe it stands for?

It could be a player, chairman, manager, groundsman, tea ledy etc, etc.

My choice is Tim Cahill. Not only do I like Cahill, but I believe he likes us. I think he is near as it gets to an example of a professional player taking real pride in his club, in playing for it and in representing the fans' interests. Technically he's not the greatest but he makes up for that with endeavour and sheer determination. He'd walk through a wall if he could get away with it. Top bloke and my Mr Everton. (y)

Cahill for me too. For all the reasons you stated above.

No longer with the club, but my choice is Colin Harvey he IS Mr Everton for me.

Im not your Dad but he was my first hero I can still remember being gutted when he signed for Liverpool he has been an example to all players and fans as to what being Everton means ,only Brian Labone comes close to him. (y)

If Labby was still with us I'd have to say in my lifetime as a blue that he'd be your man for mr Everton. This guy literally lived breathed and bled Everton. A great man so sadly missed (y)

There are bigger Evertonians not working for the club than anyone working for it at the moment. Colin Harvey and Alec Young for example but I could name tons more.

cahill for me too no question. without a doubt he'd start for any team in the premier league but theres never even a question about him leaving, he is mr. everton and he will be regarded as a legend.

how many times has cahill been driven to tears after scoring? that kind of pride is what's lacking in football today.
