Trying to forget about the current depression that has descended over even the most optimistic Evertonians, I thought I'd ask a question:
Who on the staff at Everton personifies Everton Football Club and what you believe it stands for?
It could be a player, chairman, manager, groundsman, tea ledy etc, etc.
My choice is Tim Cahill. Not only do I like Cahill, but I believe he likes us. I think he is near as it gets to an example of a professional player taking real pride in his club, in playing for it and in representing the fans' interests. Technically he's not the greatest but he makes up for that with endeavour and sheer determination. He'd walk through a wall if he could get away with it. Top bloke and my Mr Everton.
