Moyes Watch @ Real Sociedad

He won't ever bring you the glory years but he will deliver you year on year stability and, contrary to popular belief, get you playing some pretty nice football doing it, if the talents there.

The problem is that he would never stick to attractive football, and revert too easily to pragmatism.

But yes, his reputation for ugly football is perhaps undeserved. For periods of his tenure we played some of the best football in the league.

He said "I've managed two big clubs back home" on Revista La Liga.

At least he's stopped disrespecting us. I'm happy seeing him do well. Real Sociedad are a lot like us so I think they're perfect for him.

Good job that's not what I said, then. I actually said in a relegation fight, he's as good as you'll find.

He's also very good at getting you to the best of the rest and staying there.

However he never pushed us onto the next level (i.e top four, winning things) and I firmly believe, until he changes his fundamental modus operandi, he will never be capable of doing so.

That bit you didn't say, he certainly pushed on the next level from relegation dogfighters.

Yes, by next level I meant the next level from where we are now.

He did take us up a level from relegation battlers, thank God. And of course that should never be forgotten, even if he was a bit of a tit to us after leaving.

Pretty sure it was forgotten by many before he even left us, but yeah, utter bulb after leaving, no chance of him coming back.

I was talking to a few of the chaps off here and @Moomin said he heard John Aldridge on Radio Sports Chat and Aldridge was saying that he had heard that quote from Moyes, and states that he must have been talking about Manchester United and Preston North End

he said he also called Howard Kendall a chump

He meant Preston and United the abhorrent bell.

Sociedad were rubbish, didn't deserve even a point!

They were actually the better side for the first half hour or so, scored and then proceeded to do absolutely nothing for the rest of the game, your right though, in the end Granada were the only team looking to win and deserved to.
