For what its worth, Moyes looks at the rat here as if he wants to kill him:

We beat top teams quite a lot at home anyway didn't we?

Yep, in his last season wins against City, United, Tottenham and draws v Liverpool and Arsenal. It was a travesty that Chelsea beat us because we battered them as well that year.

Used to love the rollercoaster single goal wins against the big boys at home. Especially the Ferguson v United. That was Moyes' Everton at their best. Didn't hear anyone that night complaining about the quality of football and other subjective measurements of success. Moyes' Evertpn could get the blood pumping and the emotion stirring regardless of how rubbish we were. The current lot can't get out of first gear and send the stadium to sleep most home games.

1-0 down striker off defender on please!

Oh I so want more of that!

And we are having a go at martinez for playing people out of postion ffs Moyes invented that on a very large scale!!

And I've never been a Martinez lover but think he shouldnt be sack yet.

If the defenders can't defend anyway, what's the point?

People keep harping on about Moyes "going back to Everton".

How do you know that he would want to? He's probably enjoying his new life in San Sebastian.

His record against top four teams was horrendous for an 11 year stint as manager. And his record in crunch goes like the Derby and cup games was terrible. The football was by and large dog turd. Oh, and then he rounded it all off by stabbing Everton in the back multiple times.

Yeah, lets roll the red carpet back out for this lad.

People need to read this and take it on board.

Can't remember anyone connected with Everton dividing opinion so much. For me he had a few faults especially his crap substitutions but his record in the transfer market was outstanding. He played a quick aggressive style but it was far from hoofball. He took us as far as he could and left at the right time in my opinion

Dave, lighten up, no one really wants him back. It is just talk because of our current dismal situation. He had come to the end of his GP life and it was time for him to go so okay unhappy about how it was done but really time to move on and forget. All credit to him for his win over Barca, two things for sure Real Madrid fans will be cheering and Real Sociedad fans are cheering.
